Importing Products

Importing your products into Flupio is a great way to speed up the process of getting your shop live and making money. If you have Etsy or a Shopify website you can export your products to a CSV and import them directly into Flupio.

Support Methods:

  • Etsy CSV (Fully automatic)
  • Shopify CSV (Semi-automatic)

Uploading your CSV

  1. Sign in to Flupio.com
  2. Click Shop Manager in the header
  3. Navigate to Products
  4. Click Import Products
  5. Click the platform you're importing form
  6. Upload your CSV
  7. Click Submit

Once you've submitted your CSV you can track its progress using the import manager on the product listings page. Once your import is complete you will be able to see the completed import in the import manager for another 30 minutes. You will also receive an email with information about your recent import.

To download your listings from Etsy as a csv file:

  1. Sign in to Etsy.com.
  2. Click Shop Manager.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Options.
  5. Click Download Data.
  6. Click Download CSV to save the file to your computer.

Once you have uploaded your file, Flupio will begin automatically copying your listings over as unpublished products in your Flupio shop. Depending on the number of products you are importing this could take a few minutes to a few hours.

To download your listings from Shopify as a csv file:

  1. Sign in to your Shopify admin
  2. Go to Products
  3. Click Export
  4. Select all or choose products you want to export
  5. Select Plain CSV File
  6. Click Export Products

Once you have uploaded your file, we will get to work copying it all over as draft listings in your Flupio shop. This can take up to 48 hours, but some more complex Shopify CSV's could take longer.

Notes:

  • When importing variations you will not be allowed to edit the variations on imported products or add the imported variations to other products due to the way Etsy and Shopify handle variations. We recommend that you recreate the variations over time and slowly replace the imported versions with Flupio variations which are much more configurable.
